Coaching

Why should I be your coach?

I care.

I believe in doing things right.

You will put hundreds of hours into training.

You deserve someone who cares about that process.

My athlete load is between 35-40 athletes so that I can coach you right.

No copy and paste training programs here.

Experience Matters.

With 25 years of experience coaching hundreds of athletes, I know how to get it done.

Athletes improve 10% in 6 months on average.

No tricks, no gimmicks, no name dropping, just results.

You’re a Pro.

I don’t cut corners. Not with pros or anyone else.

All coaching includes a Premium Training Peaks account and whatever amount of time it takes to get the job done right.

Athletes can reach me day or night, call, text or email.

No juggling spreadsheets or managing multiple accounts.

Contact me.

I am currently taking athletes on a case-by-case basis. I would love to hear about your goals so I can help find the right solution for you. If I'm unable to work with you, I'll make sure that one of my coaching colleagues will be a perfect fit.

From my athletes…

“Anyone can write a training plan, but not everyone can be a coach. Jason Koop is a coach, and a good one at that. I've been fortunate enough to benefit from his expertise, both as an athlete and a mentee in the field of exercise science. Koop truly understands how to translate science into application, and cares deeply about his athletes. Koop's professional accolades, along with his dedication to the care and communication with his athletes, are what truly set him apart from other coaches in the sport.”

“I first started working with Koop in 2006. Since that time he has evolved into one of the preeminent coaches in the endurance sports world. His breadth of experience and know how are extraordinary.”

“Coach Koop gives me the tools and the confidence to go all in. We devise a plan, I trust the process, work my ass off, we then communicate, adjust and adapt so I may pursue my biggest ambitions.”

— Timothy Olson
